This is a nice blooming size Latauriate Dendrobium that is blooming size in a 3.5" pot. This plant is a fast growing plant that has tall pseudobulbs that blooms with multiple large attractive spotted blooms. With Latauriate Dendrobiums it is possible to bloom multiple times from the same pseudobulb. So as these mature they can potentially bloom from the new growths and older mature growths. This results in quite a show of many spikes and blooms. These bloom in the late winter months.
Den. Roy Tokunaga
Den. Roy Tokunaga is a beautiful and highly collectible Latouria-type Dendrobium hybrid known for its unique flowers, strong growing habit, and long-lasting blooms. This primary hybrid is a cross of Dendrobium atroviolaceum x Dendrobium johnsoniae, both of which contribute to its distinctive flower shape and species-influenced charm.
When mature and well grown, Den. Roy Tokunaga can produce clusters of creamy white to soft pink flowers with attractive purple to burgundy spotting, striping, or markings. Blooms are known for being long lasting, and mature plants may rebloom from older growths under good culture.
General Care:
Grow in bright, filtered light with good air movement. Latouria-type Dendrobiums generally prefer warm conditions, medium to bright indirect light, and regular watering during active growth. Keep the media lightly moist but not soggy, allowing only slight drying between waterings. Reduce water and fertilizer somewhat during cooler months.
A beautiful and interesting Dendrobium hybrid for growers who enjoy unusual blooms, long-lasting flowers, and species-influenced orchids. Perfect for adding something unique and collectible to any orchid collection.
